Great Portuguese food delicious good service
Good food. Very crowded long wait to be seated and for service. Would probably try again. Perhaps on week night
This restaurant is always fantastic! We Stopped in for soup and it was at closing time but they were very accommodating. Smiled and said no problem then brought us out 3 bowls of Portuguese soup that was delicious. The prices are very reasonable too! We love going here....
This is a small real authentic Portuguese restaurant I start the meal with a bowl of Portuguese vegetable soup and I was not disappointed so delicious worth the trip just for the soup then I got the Portuguese steak I got mine butterflied and omg has to to the best most tender piece of Portuguese steak I ever had the fries and the rice soaked up what i call the juice (gravy to some) not doubt 5 stars from me btw service was spot on also
Excellent food...will definitely go back to try more
Staff is always sweet with kind smiles while you wait for that delicious food to arrive at your table, or take home. Don't skip on this spot due to the smaller size or you'll regret it!
Went for lunch on Sunday, i just order fish sandwich, which was very delicious. I gave a 4 becsuse of the long wait there were 5 of us. I think they should get a larger place, since so many people, go there, and have to stand while waiting for a table. Maybe because it was on a Sunday.. but very friendly staff. Good food.
Delicious Portuguese food. Friendly people.
Absolutely wonderful! Great service, great food. Would recommend, well worth the wait!
love it, been MANY times. my brother comes up from KY on biz, we could go anywhere, we always hit this place 1st
Fantastic, authentic Portuguese food. Great, friendly service. Interesting decor. What's not to like?
Wonderful, wonderful. Food excellent service excellent. Will definitely be going back. *****
Went for the first time. It’s highly recommended by many ppl. The service was great. The food came fast and hot. The only disappointment was the frozen shoestring fries. I have never been to an “ authentic “ Portuguese restaurant and been served frozen anything!! I’m Portuguese and what a corner to cut.
Came here from Virginia. My husband and I go state to state trying out Portuguese restaurants. The food was amazing, the service incredible even the people seated next us. We will definitely be coming back here. The drive from Virginia was worth it!!. Our server Isabel was the best!!!
They have the best authentic Portuguese food in Rhode Island. I've been to Portugal many times and I was raised by my Portuguese grandparents. Because of this I know what amazing Portuguese food taste like. Also the portion size and the staff are incredible. I always recommend family and friends to come here.
Go here when you want to eat well, cheaply, and with amazing people around you. This small restaurant is the Cheers of neighborhood Portuguese food. The wait staff either know who you are or treat you like they do. Service was super fast and spot on. Neither of us knew what we wanted exactly, but our waitress handled it for us. "You want the soup. You eat this bread with this dip. Try these Portuguese beers. It's Saturday, rabbit is traditional." So, I went with the rabbit. Amazing! Bill got the seafood skewer. Also amazing. I will drive the three hours back to eat in this warm, cozy place with people who sure felt like family for at least a little while.
I do not go anywhere else for pork and potatoes. I've tried many. These are the best in the area
Food and service is just amazing. Reminds me of the food my grandmother makes. Bring a lot of my non-Portuguese friends here, and not a single person has disliked it. Cant wait to get to go back again :)
Always a huge fish selection for seafood lovers!!
This is a restaurant with great personality, the waitress is totally awesome, the store is decorated with old radios, which brings back memories of my Portuguese Grandfather, The food makes me feel like my Grandmother's cooking , full of love ! For me it's a reminder of where I came from ! Fresh bass was a special on the day we went. Whole fish breaded and lightly fried ! Excellent food ,and a wonderful time !
Traditional Portuguese restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. It's busy and noisy, which is to be expected.... Great place!
Service was fantastic!Seated right away.Ordered a pitcher of Red Sangria! Very refreshing & flavorful. We ordered the Cod Cakes & Crab Cakes. They were fantastic! Our lunches came quickly. I can not write those because It was my first time there and my friend helped me with the Portuguese menu. I ordered the lunch that had Oven roasted potatoes, marinated chicken & little necks. Then for Dessert we had the Rice Pudding and it was delicious with a hint of lemon and sprinkled with Cinnamon and a dab of whipped cream. Will definitely be back!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Some of the best Portuguese food in East Providence. Friendly, fun environment, always excellent service. Ordering take out is also very easy and convenient. Dining in is always a pleasure as well.
Delicious food, in portions sizes that could feed a whole village, and wonderful service! I'm so happy we came!
The staff was super friendly. Portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. We look forward to going back.
Great food! Best Portuguese food in the neighborhood. Fantastic staff!
You won't regret going! Very good food- especially considering the super fair prices. To top it off, we had a party of 14, the service was great tonight. Thank you O Dinis!
Food was great. Wished I lived closer so I can eat here more often. Highly recommend. Staff was super friendly.
Friday is octopus day. Cooked in red wine. Have been coming here for 20 years. Rabbit stew, cuttlefish. A neighborhood favorite.
We go here often with friends and family it's a place where everybody knows your name the food's pretty good although it fluctuates in quality sometimes. it's a small cozy place and good prices. If you have a very large party call ahead
I did not like the food. Soup tasted fishy for kale soup and the cod fish had the same weird spice taste. Will not go back sorry
The Service and the Food was amazing!! Definitely a must go to place.
Truly a diamond in the rough! The waitstaff (girls are awesome) they listen, attention to detail, is impressive. Had octopus, Halibut, little necks with Garlic and Oil which are the best. I’ve had them in too many place and these are awesome. Additionally, friends have had liver and onions, Cornish game hen, cuttlefish, Portuguese steak and several other foods. They are awesome! Keep up the good work!
